E-learning Localization
Software:
Storyline 360
Lang. Pair:
English (LTR) > Arabic (RTL)
The Challenge:
Adapting an existing Articulate Storyline 360 module from English LTR to Arabic RTL using supplied target-language copy. The work focused on structural UI mirroring, navigation reversal, hotspot remapping, and bidirectional text handling across all slide layers.

The Mirror Effect
Full UI structural mirroring applied across all slides. Text containers repositioned from left to right alignment. Chapter navigation cards reordered right-to-left to reflect Arabic reading flow. Background imagery retained in original orientation to preserve visual composition integrity.

Navigation Swap
Reversed navigation hierarchy across all content slides. "Next" repositioned to the left, "Back" to the right, matching natural RTL user interaction flow. Menu button repositioned from top-right to top-left across all slides.
Hotspot Fix
Interactive hotspot triggers on the menu slide remapped to match mirrored graphical positions. Hidden hotspot groups realigned within Storyline's trigger panel to maintain correct jump-to-slide logic after layout restructuring.

Bi-directional Text
RTL text direction applied per text box using Storyline's native LTR/RTL toggle. Arabic typeface implemented with full Unicode glyph coverage ensuring correct ligature rendering, right-aligned numerals, and proper punctuation mirroring without character fragmentation.

The Result:
A fully functional Arabic RTL version with mirrored interface structure, corrected navigation flow, stable typography, and verified hotspot behavior. The localized module remained visually consistent with the source and was prepared for final linguistic review and LMS delivery.
